Lakes for the entire Chugach NF digitized from 1"/mile Primary Base Series (PBS) maps. Work was done under contract to the USFS Geometronics Service Center in Salt Lake City and provided to the Chugach on tape as Cartographic Feature Files (CFF's). Lakes were were extracted from the "drains" layer by CFF-Code and cleaned up manually.
Metatdata can be viewed in ArcCatalog for each feature class.
